What Is Type One Diabetes?

Type one diabetes is the result of an auto-immune attack in which the body can no longer produce insulin, due to inactive beta cells. Unlike type two diabetes, individuals with T1D will never produce insulin again until a cure is found

What Is Type Two Diabetes?

Type two diabetes is the result of decreased insulin sensitivity due to worn-out beta cells. Often times, these processes in the body occur contiguously with an unhealthy diet and lack of physical activity
